The incubation journey
Sima was included in the Innovator Trust’s 2021/22 Start-Up Incubation Programme cohort, with founders Ntumbuluko Maluleke and Tshepo Majoro named among its beneficiaries. The programme brought mentorship and business development support to early-stage ICT businesses.
Our incubation story also includes AB4IR. For a multidisciplinary business, being part of an innovation ecosystem opens space for learning, exchanging ideas and connecting creative and technical work to practical business needs.
That experience informs the way we approach SMMEs: start with the business, understand the challenges and make the next step useful. A good identity or digital tool is strongest when the people receiving it can put it to work.
For programme teams, that thinking extends into delivery: agreed interventions, participant engagement, clear handover and the support needed to adopt new tools.
